🔷Operation Principle / Work Principle

The working principle of Micro Peltiers is based on the Peltier Effect.

When a direct current passes through a thermocouple made of different semiconductor materials, heat is transferred from one side of the module to the other.

Therefore:

Cold Side → Absorbs Heat

Hot Side → Releases Heat

In simple terms:

Power on → Cold side absorbs heat → Hot side releases heat → Temperature difference is formed → Cooling is achieved

By changing the direction of the current, the direction of heat transfer can also be changed, enabling the same thermoelectric module to have bidirectional temperature control capability for both heating and cooling.

In actual use, the heat dissipation capability of the hot side directly affects the cooling performance of the cold side. Therefore, in Micro Peltier applications, heat sinks, fans, water cooling structures, or other heat dissipation solutions are usually required.
